What is Podiatry?

Podiatry focuses on all aspects of foot care, from diagnosing and treating nail deformities and pain to addressing issues like discoloration, dry skin, cracks, calluses, fungal infections, and other foot conditions.
Personalized treatment plan
Recovery in just 2 visits
We provide a personalized treatment plan that fits both your budget and desired recovery time
Typically, we resolve your foot health issues in just two 30-minute visits.
According to the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Association, around 20% of athletes experience toenail injuries. For professionals who spend most of their workday on their feet—like salespeople, waiters, nurses, and construction workers—about 30% deal with issues such as fungal infections, blisters, calluses, and ingrown toenails.

How painful is the procedure?
Patients normally come to our clinic with pain, and the podologist's task is to ease it. That’s why none of the procedures are painful
How is the recovery process monitored?
We always make recommendations concerning home care, schedule follow-up appointments and keep in touch with patients during the recovery period
How soon can I return to my regular activities?
The podiatrist's main task is to ease pain symptoms during the first appointment so that you can get back to normal life right away

Your first step into podiatry

In just 30 minutes, we’ll give your toenails and foot skin a thorough visual and computerized exam, assess their condition and put together a personalized treatment plan. You'll get a clear picture of what needs to be done, how much it will cost, how many visits are needed, and what results you can expect.
Do you treat men?
Yes, of course. I treat both men and women as they often have similar causes for their diseases
Do you treat children?
We don’t treat children under 14. If your child is over 14 and you’re concerned about their feet’s skin and toenails, schedule a consultation with us and we’ll talk about a treatment plan
Do you treat patients with hand problems?
We focus exclusively on skin and nail issues for the feet. It's our specialty

How can I overcome the fear of the first visit?
We can start with a consultation to discuss your therapy needs without touching your feet. Depending on the situation, home care might be enough, or I can show you how to do it painlessly with my help
Can you diagnose the disease online?
We don’t offer online or messenger-based diagnostics. The diagnosis can only be done during an initial examination. However, you can use our online diagnostic quiz to help identify your symptoms and choose the right service for your appointment.
How is podiatry different from aesthetics?
Aesthetics is all about beauty, no matter what issues you might have. Podology, on the other hand, is focused on addressing foot problems and improving foot health.

Do I need orthotic insoles?
Their goal is to give your feet better support, ease pressure on trouble spots, and help restore your feet's natural position. If you're feeling pain, dealing with blisters or experiencing fatigue in your feet and legs, anatomical insoles might be just what you need.

How long does the recovery take?
Throughout treatment, we’ll talk about different options, including self-care at home. We’ll work together to create a personalized plan and decide how often you’ll need to come in for follow-ups to track your progress.
Why does the issue keep coming back?
While dermatologists and surgeons often look to medication or surgery to address issues, podiatry takes a different approach. We focus on creating the right conditions for your body to heal naturally, aiming to minimize pain and avoid more extreme measures.
